I’m still on vacation in Wisconsin with my daughters, visiting my family. We’ve been having a great time sledding, building snowmen and snow forts, tromping through the woods, playing games, playing with all of my old childhood toys, baking, and much more!
I’ve even been doing a *little* quilling with a small project for my mom (no pics yet, maybe in a few days).
I had a couple posts scheduled for the past few weeks, but I didn’t have time before I left to schedule as many as I needed, so I’m all out! I’m coming home this week so I’ll be back next week with something new and then some great posts coming in the new year!
While I am here in the US I’ve been stocking up on some sealants, varnishes, glazes and glues to use with quilling and quilled jewelry. I can’t wait to try them all and then share my tutorials and tips for each brand/type. I really love being able to share info on as many different products as possible.
I’ll do an official wrap up with statistics for the year 2014 in 2 or 3 weeks, but I just want to say that it’s been a great year here for the blog! This was my first year of having a self hosted blog. It has been an adventure figuring out everything with design, hosting, theme, organization, etc. etc . I have many more plans for the future. It’ll be fun to see how much gets done in 2015!
Thank you so much for your visits and support and input for this blog. I have truly enjoyed sharing and learning and I look forward to many more years of this blog growing!
Sorry no picture today, but all will return to normal in the next 1-2 weeks. I’m truly enjoying my vacation with very few responsibilities (except still taking care of my young daughters of course 😉 amazing what freedom from housework can do! I look forward to getting back home, though, and working more for the blog!
